Fees and Rebates
At Little Minds Child Psychology, psychological sessions are $222.99 per 50–minute standard session. We have managed our fees as such to provide the most affordable service we can whilst acknowledging the expertise of our psychologists.
In-between session services including travel and report writing will be billed on a pro rata basis, in line with the standard hourly consultation fee.
Payment is required in full at the time of service.
There are several avenues available for you to access a fee rebate for psychological services:
Mental Health Care Plan
If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your general practitioner (GP), you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on up to 10 sessions per calendar year. As of July 1st 2024, the rebate is $96.65 per 50 minute psychology session.
NDIS Participants
Self-managed and Plan-managed NDIS Participants can use their NDIS funding to access services at Little Minds Child Psychology. Unfortunately, NDIA-managed clients cannot use their funding to access services at Little Minds Child Psychology.
Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorder Plan
If you have a valid Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorder plan from your paediatrician or psychiatrist, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates. As of July 1st 2024, the rebate is $96.65 per 50 minute psychology session.
Private Health Insurance
Some private health insurers offer rebates for psychological services. Contact your insurer to find out if you are covered under your policy.
You do not need a referral to see a psychologist in Australia. You may elect to access services at Little Minds Child Psychology privately.
