Group Programs
At Little Minds Child Psychology, we offer group programs for children, throughout the school term and holidays. Each program is specifically designed to explore a specific psychological concept and obtain a deeper understanding through a collaborative and creative (and fun!) approach. These programs also provide the opportunity for connection with like-minded peers.
Group topics we offer include:
Spoon Theory for Young People: This multi-week group program explores fluctuating capacity through Spoon Theory (created by Christine Miserandino, utilising resources created by Adelle at Neurodivergent Ally) to help support young individuals (aged 9 - 12) understand their fluctuating energy capacity, the impact this has on their functioning, and to develop strategies to manage their energy more effectively.
Body Power Pack for Young Children: This multi-week group program explores the concept of fluctuating capacity through the idea of a Body Power Pack and Body Battery (utilising resources created by Sandhya Menon) to help support young children (aged 6 - 8) understand their fluctuating energy capacity with the concept of a body battery, the impact this has on their daily functioning, and to develop strategies to manage their body battery more effectively.
Creative Connections School Holiday Group Programs: The Creative Connections Programs are once-off group sessions that provide children (aged 6 - 13) the opportunity to connect with like-minded peers whilst engaging in creative, hands-on activities, within a structured and fun environment, whilst utilising and developing a range of executive functioning skills.

Little Minds Child Psychology can come to your school and deliver group programs to small groups of identified children. Schools are encouraged to enquire via email to discuss this process and associated fees.
