Educational Workshops

At Little Minds Child Psychology, we offer engaging educational workshops for parents and educators within the community. Each workshop lasts up to 90 minutes and is designed to provide participants with a deeper understanding of a specific psychological topic and provide attendees the opportunity to engage in a meaningful discussion.

Workshop topics we currently offer include:

  • Spoon Theory for Parents and Educators: This workshop introduces the concept of Spoon Theory (created by Christine Miserandino) to help parents and educators better understand the fluctuating capacity levels and self-care needs of their children and students.

  • Affirming and Inclusive Classrooms: This workshop introduces the importance of creating inclusive learning environments that support diverse learning needs and promote a sense of belonging and safety within the educational environment for all children.

  • Emotion Coaching: Connecting With Kids Through Empathy: This workshop introduces the key principles of emotion coaching from the Tuning Into Kids Program. Parents and educators will learn how to better understand and respond to the emotions of children, foster stronger emotional intelligence, and more connected relationships. Emma is a trained Tuning Into Kids facilitator.
